We need volunteers to help prep and plant the garden beds for the upcoming season. Whether you’re a green thumb or just eager to lend a hand, everyone is welcome! While you're here, don’t forget to support the Cavicchia family’s annual diaper drive—drop off some diapers to make a difference for families in need.

Connie Feda, owner of Cookie Cookie Ice Cream, an SBDC client entrepreneur, will be sharing their story with attendees and available for questions and business advice.

Also, Microloan lenders will be on hand to meet attendees in-person.  SBA Lender Relations Specialist Lynn Ann Vozniak will walk participants step-by-step through the process of communicating funding needs and introduce area Microloan lenders. “SBA Microloans are a great source for small-dollar financing” said SBA Western Pa District Director Dr. Kelly Hunt. “Microloan lenders provide up to $50,000 in capital and even more free assistance to borrowers. That really gives people the chance to open that small business and succeed.”

As the gardening season ends, we invite community members to help prepare our community garden for winter. Your support is crucial for this task.

Tasks include harvesting remaining produce, clearing plants, composting debris, and preparing soil for next season. This group effort strengthens our community bonds.
